London is getting a brand new 24-hour electronic music venue.
FOLD, a 600-capacity nightclub based above a print factory on an industrial estate between Canning Town and Star Lane, will open its doors this summer.
Its launch party on August 18, featuring leading queer party organisers Homodrop and Resis’dance, house favourites Bodyhammer and the Dimensions Soundsystem, will run for “at least” 24 hours, the club’s owners promise.
Lasha Jorjoliani, the club’s co-founder, said: “FOLD presents an uncompromising schedule of forward-thinking electronic music.
“The 24-hour programme gives us a unique opportunity to surprise, challenge and inspire. Expect extended set times, obscure b2bs and a generally more expansive pallet of sounds over the course of one event.”
Seb Glover, the other co-founder, added the club would “strive to do things differently in London, cultivating a more continental approach, creating a place where you can spend extended periods or come and go as you please”.
